A Journey Built on Hospitality, Heart, and Craft
My story begins in hospitality, where I first fell in love with the art of service — the quiet, thoughtful details that make guests feel cared for without them ever asking. I later became a teacher, a chapter that taught me how to create environments where people feel welcomed, connected, and truly seen. Those years shaped my belief that the most meaningful moments are the ones we craft with purpose.
Over time, my love of wine deepened. Curiosity turned into study, and study turned into passion as I began my sommelier training, expanding the way I understood flavor, celebration, and the beauty of a shared pour.
Each chapter added another layer to how I see hospitality: intentional, design-driven, and deeply human.
Why "The Rookery"?
A rookery is a gathering place — where the flock comes together, settles in, and eventually takes flight. When I found the word hiding inside my own last name, it felt like the only possible name for what I wanted to build: a place where people gather, linger a little longer, and leave a little lighter.

Today, The Rookery Co. operates as a mobile beverage catering company serving weddings, corporate events, and celebrations across the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
