I’m Caryn, the founder of The Rookery Co., wine lover, celebration curator, and the creative spirit behind an experience designed to elevate gatherings with warmth, elegance, and intention.

A Journey Built on Hospitality, Heart, and Craft

My story begins in hospitality, where I first fell in love with the art of service — the quiet, thoughtful details that make guests feel cared for without them ever asking.

I later became a teacher, a chapter that taught me how to create environments where people feel welcomed, connected, and truly seen. Those years shaped my belief that the most meaningful moments are the ones we craft with purpose.

Over time, my love of wine deepened. Curiosity turned into study, and study turned into passion as I began my journey as a sommelier, expanding the way I understood flavor, celebration, and the beauty of a shared pour.

Each chapter added another layer to how I saw hospitality:
intentional, design-driven, and deeply human.

Inspired by my last name, my wine education, and my belief that hospitality is both an art and a gift, I created a tap trailer experience that feels elevated, refined, and naturally inviting.
